UNIPOLFOUNDATIONAL STATUS & INCORPORATION

The United Nations Interagency for Peace, Order & Law Academy (UNIPOL) is formally established as an international educational and training institution operating under a foreign treaty organization nonprofit framework, in association with the Indigenous-controlled Harvest Christian University. This academy is specifically organized to provide community policing and public safety education, emphasizing constitutional awareness, crime prevention, ethical leadership, and civilian engagement in safety initiatives.

UNIPOL operates strictly as a non-law enforcement, educational and training body, delivering structured programs that equip individuals, organizations, and communities with the knowledge and tools necessary to support public safety through lawful, non-enforcement means.

APPLICABLE INTERNATIONAL CODES & LAWS

 UNIPOL operates within the framework of recognized international law governing diplomatic missions and international organizations, including:

  • Charter of the United Nations (1945)
  • Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961)
  • Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (1963)
  • Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations (1946)
  • Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the Specialized Agencies (1947)
  • Geneva Conventions (1949) and Additional Protocols

IRS STATUS & FEDERAL TAX FRAMEWORK

UNIPOL’s operations fall within recognized U.S. nonprofit and educational statutes governing public safety training and instruction:

  • 26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3)
  • 26 U.S.C. § 508(a)
  • 26 U.S.C. § 508(c)(1)(A)
  • 26 U.S.C. § 170(c)(2)
  • 26 CFR § 1.501(c)(3)-1(d)(3)

Through its structured community policing and public safety training programs, UNIPOL qualifies under the educational and charitable purpose doctrine of federal tax law.
